contents were identical)
The one on the right was signed inside

and Rob LaBelle.

An excellent
convention, held at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool - this marked
the first UK convention appearence of Kate Mulgrew, some 8 years after
she promised, in a video clip at the 'Generations' event, that she wanted
to come over and meet UK fans! It was worth the wait...
At the opening
ceremony, Ms Mulgrew promised to sign an autograph for every person at
the convention, and she made good on this promise, fitting in extra sessions
throughout the weekend and finally, late on Sunday afternoon, signing her
3500th item (to loud cheers, which disconcerted the speakers on stage,
The Roberts Duncan McNeil and Picardo!)
The only thing
that marred the event was some confusion during Saturday afternoon over
autograph sessions - mainly due to a number of misunderstandings over who
was signing and when - however, this was, eventually, resolved and pretty
much everyone left with an autograph from one of more of the guests.
Sunday was probably
the hightlight of the weekend, when a surprise guest appeared on stage
with Kate Mulgrew - Patrick Stewart! This was the first time two
captains had appeared on a UK stage at the same time - a piece of UK Trek
history!
